UMRA webinar february 2023
The UMRA Grant recipients have been invited to participate in a free webinar, on February 11, 2023 from 11am until 12:30 pm EST, in which they will offer information on the ministry/outreach they are doing within their communities. If you are interested in knowing more about a particular ministry, or even how to get one started, please plan on attending this informative online session.
These ministries and the churches are as follows:
Fort Branch UMC, Ft Branch, Indiana - Back to School Bash - an organized program that gives away as many as 400 or more custom-filled backpacks to students in their area
MoCo Feeds- McConnelsville, Ohio - a food ministry that offers a lunch meal 5 days a week to homeless neighbors and others with the help of volunteers from neighboring churches and service organizations.
Clothes 4 U, Belle Vernon UMC, Pennsylvania- a clothing ministry that runs on a donation in, donation out basis. Any monies donated go into a fund for helping others.
Personal Care Pantry- Dakota-Rock Grove UMC Dakota, Illinois. Northern Illinois Conference. They provide help to low income families in their community with basic hygiene and household needs.
